Aeronautical Engineer. Over 27 years’ career as Engineer officer in the Chilean Air Force, in charge of maintenance of aircraft engines and equipment. Head of engineering and logistics for the Mirage project. Completed Chilean Air Force Academy course and was designated head of the technical section of the Chilean Air Force’s department in Washington DC, USA, for two years. For the past 20 years in General Electric has worked on aircraft engine turbines. In charge of security, Environmental Health and Safety and Crisis Management in GE’s Chile office for 12 years.

Born in the UK and resident in Chile since 1993, graduated in Modern Languages at University of Oxford, with a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from University of London, and an MBA at Universidad Diego Portales.
